Job Duties:

  • The ERP Developer is responsible for working with current State of Iowa integrations staff on integration analysis, development, testing, debugging and fixing integrations between Workday and existing state systems and other external vendor systems.
  • The ERP Developer is responsible for developing integration solutions for Workday –HCM and Finance systems.
  • The ERP Developer is responsible for all phases of the integration lifecycle. Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Integration solutions to support the organization’s ERP applications.
  • Create custom integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Core Connector, Document Transformations, Web Services and Rest APIs.
  • Create and maintain inbound/outbound Workday Finance integrations to third party systems with different modules like accounting, procurement, expenses  using Studio and specific vendor templates.
  • Responsible for creating complex reports like Advance, BIRT, Matrix, Composite and Dashboards with different calculated field functionalities and re-engineering with workday environment.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop and test prototypes and proactively maintain integrations once in production.
  • Create technical documents which capture the development standards for the Workday project. These standards are fundamental building blocks to maintain consistency throughout the project and facilitate an effective output till post-production support.
  • Configure Business process and Domain Security policies to implement end-to-end security solutions in workday.
  • Responsible for Demonstrating technical expertise integrating a variety of diverse ERP technical environments (Workday Financials) and cross-platform technologies like ETL to meet state and federal requirements.
  • Support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing insight to testing teams to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverage.
  • Coordinate the feasibility study with the cost-effective technology and to come up with architecture details to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of computer processing.
  • The ERP developer ensures that the software can be completely integrated into the ERP system and works with the ERP Project Manager, Business Analyst, Architect, and other ERP Team members on an as needed basis to ensure that the design and code meet customer requirements.

Minimum Education Requirement: This position requires minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subject.
