Job Title: SQL Developer

Salary: $80,912.00/Annum + Company Standard Benefits
Work Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours/Week
Duration of Project: 3 years
Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with Business Analysts and customers to develop business requirements and specifications documents.
  • Ensure to generate and deliver quality reports to customers in timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop VBA programs to automatically update Excel workbooks, encompassing class and program modules and external data queries and linked the based module to enable automatic updates for excel workbooks.
  • Identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely fashion.
  • Create Macros for Excel reports.
  • Implement pivot tables and charts in Excel for summarizing data.
  • Build optimized SQL tables for data ingestion projects using Microsoft SQL server 2012.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
  • Conduct analyses of alternatives for different technical solutions and be able to communicate the strengths and weaknesses of each ETL solution.
  • Perform ETL failure recovery when needed. Daily notifications on ETL workflow status.
  • Design the incremental and historical load strategy
  • Responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources like HIVE Data Lake, Teradata, Excel, CSV, Flat files, XML etc., in an efficient data warehouse and designing enterprise-level solutions for very large multidimensional databases.
  • Experience in Design, Develop and Automate SSIS Packages using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.
  • Builds SSIS packages to automate reports.
  • Analyze and create complex SQL Queries, database scripts, stored procedures, triggers Views and Temporary Tables etc., as per the requirement. as well as troubleshooting and optimizing.
  • Writing relational and multidimensional database queries.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.

Minimum Qualification: This position requires minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
