Job Duties:
- Designing, developing, testing and implementing features and code using PowerShell cmdlets and implementations
- Configuring SharePoint timer jobs based on business requirements, and service applications like Search, Metadata, and User Profile Synchronization
- Gathering requirements from business users and recording them clearly in a format useful for development
- Integrating existing and new applications using modern enterprise integration patterns
- Identifying and resolving errors in the PowerShell cmdlets and resulting implementation
- Creating documentation on PowerShell cmdlet approach and guides for implementation
- Providing mentorship to resources in proper PowerShell standards and implementation
- Facilitating code refinements that result in PowerShell implementation refinements and efficiency
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading and managing a SharePoint Server or a Farm
- Configuring all creation of a content database and maintaining, which involves maintenance of various logging databases in SQL Server
- Assigning proper permission levels for users of a SharePoint site
- Configuring Business Connectivity services for connecting to a SQL database or a WCF service
- Designing, coding, testing and delivering insightful and architecturally sound business solutions
- Documenting code and projects others can easily understand
- Fulfill customer requirements as measured in customer survey scores
- Applying team coding, documenting, and testing standards, and recommending process improvements
- Recognizing upstream and downstream impacts
- Improving application and team processes
- Decreasing incidents and increasing uptime of applications
- Developing client server and web applications in a Microsoft environment
- Designing and developing applications with Microsoft .NET framework
- Developing, configuring, and managing Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010/2013
- Developing basic and advanced SharePoint artifacts, including (but not limited to) web parts, custom fields, custom lists, views, content types, sites and sub-sites, lists, and libraries.
- Designing and developing online portals using HTML5, CSS, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, XML
- Utilizing image capture and storage software programs
- Utilizing object oriented programming, frameworks, code generation, and design patterns and practices
- Utilizing IIS, SharePoint workflows, and active directory
- Developing customized designs, implementations, and on-going support of SharePoint solutions.
- Designing and customizing .Net based applications and ensuring end to end implementation of several enhancements of the system with timely project deliverables
- Working on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors
- Acting as an expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process
Minimum Education Requirement: This position requires minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subject.
