Location: Remote

Salary: $49.66/Hour

Job duties:

• Responsible for application development performing design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, SYNCSORT, File Aid, AbendAid.
• Create tables, triggers in SQL and DB2 stored procedure.
• Create technical design specifications and unit test results documents.
• Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables.
• Execute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration, performance, volume.
• Provide support to QA and UAT team members.
• Participate effectively in all project related meetings.
• Develop batch programs and online transactions for Adhoc reporting.
• Code solutions that meet the business requirements in a timely and accurate manner
• Create batch jobs and install them in production through version control tool Endevor.
• Work with the scheduling team to schedule the batch jobs in Control-M.
• Perform on-call duties for nightly and weekend batch cycles to meet the business service level agreements (SLA).
• Performs database/ disaster recovery planning for multiple systems when needed.
• Follow Scrum/Agile methodology in project implementation.

Minimum Education Requirement: This position requires minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
