Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location:Dublin Ohio 43017
Duration: 3 Years
Work Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours/Week
Salary: $84,219.00/Annum + Company Standard Benefits
Job Duties:

  • Modifying existing software and tweaking the system settings to improve application performance.
  • Developing python scripts and YAML templates to deploy application software on Kubernetes cluster or Linux/Windows/Database workloads in cloud.
  • Develop C, python, Powershell and bash code and upload to GIT repositories.
  • Training and educating different teams with Velostrata migration software that moves applications/servers from on-premises to cloud.
  • Analyzing SAP applications and providing best solutions in implementing cloud infrastructure.
  • Documentation the code development and procedures in wiki to guide other cloud engineers and software programmers.
  • Implementing and coordinating with different patching solutions like Tanium and IBM BigFix to patch system software and communicate with application or software development teams for downtimes.
  • Continually analyze, review and recommend improvements in planning procedure for new system installation or in existing systems software using six sigma methodologies.
  • Prepare project reports on current status, concerns and challenges of a project for management review.
  • Collaborate with different application teams, developers, engineers and project managers to provide best design solutions and suggest appropriate systems based on the code or applications.
  • Designing new architecture solutions using 2d softwares like AutoCAD.
  • Train peers and application developers in new cloud technologies.
  • Recommend best system configurations to clients based on the application code and its performance.

Minimum Qualification: This position requires minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
